Digital IT News publishes IT news promoted by third-party news wire services, media outlets, and corporate news announcements (referred to here as Promoted Media).
Digital IT News reserves the right to reject article submissions for any reason. If your article is rejected, you will not receive an invoice and will not be responsible for publishing, promotion fees, or payments.
Terms and Conditions for Accepted Viewpoints & Promoted Media
These terms create an agreement between you (the author or author’s representative) and DigitalITNews.com (Digital IT News) whenever your Viewpoints content is published and/or promoted on our website, newsletter, or social media, which includes our website content, email newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X formerly known as Twitter) channels. Other specific terms, such as the conditions for viewpoints, will also apply if you are a journalist or representative submitting on behalf of an author. Our publishing agreement with you is conditional on your complying with all other applicable rules and conditions specified by Digital IT News.
Registering accurate information with Digital IT News
One registration suffices for multiple submissions to Digital IT News. You agree to provide at least the minimum information required.
Who may register? Natural persons aged 18 or over may register, and you must register in your name or register as a journalist or contributor on behalf of the author. By registering as a contributor with us, you promise Digital IT News that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
Digital IT News, at its discretion, may refuse or cancel a registration with or without notice. Digital IT News may deny publishing or remove any content or retract articles that violate promoted media guidelines or copyright laws. You may also request the deletion of viewpoints’ content; such requests will be considered in their context.
Digital IT News Viewpoints content will remain live for at least one year following publication. When content is archived, contributors may submit an updated article by purchasing a new publishing/promotion package. Contributors may publish updated content on the archived URL by including it in the draft submission.
The following activities are prohibited on all Digital IT News websites. They can result in your registration being suspended or terminated, which Digital IT News reserves the right to do.
- Gaining or attempting to gain access to another user’s account without that user’s explicit and informed permission
- Disguising your identity when interacting in any way on any Website
- Any activity which is designed to, or is likely to, cause any harm or damage to Digital IT News, to other contributors, to any of our sponsors or advertisers
- Any attempt to copy, hack, or reverse-engineer the code forming any Website or any functionality offered by any Website
- Any act intended or likely to cause any damage to any Website, its availability on the internet, its underlying software, or the reputation of Digital IT News or any other Journal Owner, including (but not limited to) denial of service attacks
- Uploading or placing on any Website, or on any website to which you provide links, any virus or other harmful or undesirable code
- Any fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activity
- Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to databases or other resources of Digital IT News or its suppliers
- Posting or linking to any content which does not comply in all respects with the content requirements set out in these conditions
- Posting of any personal information of any other person without that person’s explicit informed consent
- The posting of any commercial or promotional content, or any content that includes promotion of any commercial or business offering, without a specific agreement with Digital IT News in that respect
- The mounting or promotion of any pyramid scheme or other multi-level marketing scheme
- Reproduction, duplication, copying, or re-selling any part of any Digital IT News website content except for good-faith reliance on explicit licenses or as otherwise explicitly permitted by these Conditions or following the specific and explicit agreement of Digital IT News
