Robin has announced a significant expansion of its Workplace Services, introducing AI-powered orchestration to address everyday office management challenges. The platform already helps teams manage meeting requirements, including catering, room arrangements, and visitor preparation. With the latest enhancements, Robin can also coordinate responses when problems arise. Rather than simply recording an issue, the AI evaluates its impact on spaces, employees, and scheduled meetings, then takes action to reduce disruptions and keep workplace operations running smoothly.
Meeting disruptions aren’t isolated incidents. According to Robin’s Workplace Friction 2026 Survey, 56% of respondents said they had to switch rooms or troubleshoot equipment more than 10 times in the prior 30 days. More than half (54%) ran into video conferencing equipment that wasn’t working properly just as often. And the impact extends beyond the initial problem. A broken camera or malfunctioning conference room can disrupt meetings throughout the day, leaving workplace teams scrambling to find alternative spaces, notify employees and coordinate repairs.
With Robin’s expansion to Workplace Services, a reported issue becomes a coordinated response. Using its understanding of the workplace (which includes floor maps, reservations, equipment and employee context), the Robin agent can identify the affected space, create and route a ticket, find alternative rooms and help move upcoming meetings before more employees are disrupted.
From Issue Reporting to Workplace Orchestration
With the expanded Workplace Services, Robin enables:
- Effortless issue reporting: Employees can report a problem with a sentence or photo. Because Robin already understands their reservations and workplace context, the Robin agent can identify the affected room and equipment, create a detailed ticket, assign priority and route it to the appropriate team.
- Coordinated meeting recovery:Â When a room has an issue, Robin can immediately suggest an alternative space for the person reporting it. With administrator approval and configured policies, Robin can also rebook upcoming reservations and notify affected employees, preventing one problem from disrupting an entire day of meetings.
- Real-time workplace visibility:Â Reported issues appear in a centralized queue and directly on workplace floor maps, giving administrators a clear view of affected spaces, open problems and the actions needed to resolve them.
- One connected experience for workplace services:Â Issue reporting and resolution now sit alongside existing services such as catering, AV support, room setup and visitor preparation. Workplace teams can coordinate meeting needs and disruptions in one place, with requests connected to the spaces and reservations they support.
Orchestration on the Organization’s Terms
Every workplace operates differently, and Robin’s automated actions are designed to work within each organization’s rules. Administrators control which actions Robin can take, including whether affected rooms can be taken offline or upcoming meetings automatically rebooked. Teams can establish exclusions, notification windows and priorities for important spaces, ensuring that AI-driven coordination reflects how their workplace actually operates.
“The old way of running an office is reactive: something breaks, and the workplace team scrambles to contain it,” said Ciara Peter, senior vice president of product at Robin. “Now, workplace software understands the broader impact and coordinates what happens next. The promise of workplace orchestration turns what Robin knows about the workplace into action, while giving every organization complete control over how its office runs.”
The expansion of Workplace Services is another step in Robin’s strategy to move workplace technology from operations to orchestration. By combining workplace intelligence with AI that can take action, Robin is helping organizations move beyond managing individual tasks to coordinating the people, spaces and services that keep the office running.
