Black Duck Software, Inc. has named Dipto Chakravarty as its new Chief Product & Technology Officer. With over 30 years of experience leading product development and technology teams, Mr. Chakravarty brings deep expertise in AI, data intelligence, cloud security, and open source technologies. In his new role, he will oversee product strategy, product management, and research and development for all of Black Duck’s software and cloud offerings.

Prior to joining Black Duck, Dipto Chakravarty was CPO of Cloudera where he integrated and cloud-enabled complex data platforms from a merger of data pioneers. He also previously led engineering for Artificial General Intelligence at Amazon Web Services. Also with extensive experience leading and transforming multiple cybersecurity product portfolios, his appointment as Black Duck’s CPTO progresses our strategy to extend Black Duck’s market leadership into the AI era.
