Adaptiv Networks Cloud Protect Released for SD-WAN Customers

Adaptiv Networks announced today the launch of Cloud Protect, its new URL filtering service, that improves network security for SD-WAN customers. Cloud Protect is now available to all Adaptiv SD-WAN customers who are running the latest version of the platform (v8).

By focusing on simplicity, performance, and affordability, Adaptiv Networks Cloud Protect gives businesses the option to deploy a cloud solution that adds a layer of cybersecurity protection without increasing network complexity.

Cloud Protect is a simple yet powerful URL and DNS cloud-based filtering tool that enables organizations to automatically protect their network users from accessing risky websites with illegal or inappropriate content by using a real-time library of tens of millions of categorized destinations. Additionally, more restrictive network security policy templates are available to block access to unproductive websites such as gambling, adult material, or social media.

This new Adaptiv URL filtering tool is sold as an add-on service for Adaptiv SD-WAN customers, including multi-site enterprises, single-site businesses, and remote workers. Businesses with existing firewalls can easily integrate Adaptiv SD-WAN solutions with their current network firewalls today and enjoy the option to migrate to upcoming Adaptiv SASE services when they are ready to replace their existing firewalls.

“Cloud Protect protects businesses from malicious and unwanted URLs and adds a critical layer of security policy control to the inherent security of Adaptiv SD-WAN, that already provides Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), encryption, and a stateful branch office firewall,” said Bernard Breton, CEO of Adaptiv Networks. “A key step towards our new generation of Adaptiv SASE products, Cloud Protect fills a void for businesses having no cybersecurity protection.”
