The Hashgraph Group (THG) announced that its IDTrust self-sovereign identity platform has been validated and added to the IBM Cloud Catalog. The listing makes verifiable identity infrastructure for AI agents available to IBM’s global enterprise customers and positions IDTrust among the first commercial Hedera-based enterprise applications available for direct SaaS purchase through a major cloud marketplace.
THG has also qualified for the IBM Silver Partner status after meeting the rigorous technical certification standards as well as demonstrating its expertise in delivering enterprise-grade solutions. This partner status also offers THG access to the technology solutions and resources available from IBM teams. In addition, THG has signed a global Embedded Solution Agreement (ESA) with IBM covering Cloud and AI technology – a licensing and partnership agreement that allows technology partners to integrate IBM technology directly into their own proprietary products to sell a complete, single-branded solution.

How IDTrust Works
IDTrust is a secured Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) platform that provides AI agents, devices, and humans with decentralised identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs). Built on open W3C standards and designed to support the EU eIDAS 2.0 framework, every credential is cryptographically signed, tamper-evident, and verifiable without needing a central authority – with a clear path to post-quantum security as the standards mature. The platform includes MCP servers that allow AI agents connected to IBM watsonx Orchestrate obtain their own identity credentials, designed to help make every authorisation and action taken by an AI agent remains auditable. Each credential is anchored on Hedera’s distributed ledger, creating a permanent, tamper-evident record of an agent’s identity and permissions over time.
A Year of Enterprise Momentum
The IBM partnership is just the latest in a series of major enterprise milestones for THG.
