Oasis Security has appointed Michael DeCesare as President. The move comes after a year of strong momentum, including fivefold year-over-year ARR growth and a recent $120 million Series B round, positioning the company for continued global expansion and leadership.
Michael DeCesare will lead Oasis Security’s global go-to-market organization, overseeing sales, marketing, alliances, and customer success. He brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling category-defining cybersecurity companies. Most recently, he served as President of Abnormal AI, where he helped drive rapid commercial growth. His leadership experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Forescout Technologies and President of McAfee, where he led large-scale global operations and enterprise growth initiatives.
“To win this category, we need an operating engine that moves as fast as the AI market itself,” said Danny Brickman, Co-founder and CEO of Oasis Security.“Michael built some of the most important companies in cybersecurity. His experience scaling world-class organizations is exactly what Oasis needs as we become the foundational security layer for the agentic enterprise.”
The appointment comes during a period of rapid growth for Oasis Security. With $195 million in total funding to date, backed by Craft Ventures, Cyberstarts, Sequoia Capital, and Accel, the company is rapidly expanding across the Fortune 500 market. As AI agents proliferate across enterprise environments, Oasis provides the only unified control plane purpose-built to govern non-human identities at the speed of AI.
“Access is the foundational requirement for enterprise AI adoption, and Oasis is the only company built specifically to govern it,” said Michael DeCesare. “The platform is highly differentiated, the market traction is clear, and the opportunity to define this category is now. I’m excited to join Danny, Amit, and the Oasis team to build a durable, category-leading company for customers around the world.”
