Adaptiv Networks and Sunco Communication and Installation announced the integration of Adaptiv’s SD-WAN infrastructure into Sunco’s Calgary data center. They also launched innovative business networking and security products powered by Adaptiv technologies, enabling Sunco customers to benefit from enhanced performance, lower costs, and simplified operations.
Building on the partnership announced in July 2023, Sunco has now fully integrated Adaptiv’s SD-WAN technology, resulting in two groundbreaking new products:
Sunco Always On: This new SD-WAN solution is designed to ensure businesses experience zero network downtime. It smartly manages multiple internet connections, including wired and LTE, providing seamless connectivity. Sunco Always On optimizes performance for cloud applications, offers advanced network monitoring, and works harmoniously with existing customer firewall situations to maintain robust security without additional complexity.
Sunco Always Secure: Leveraging SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) technology, this service extends the capabilities of Sunco Always On by providing comprehensive network security. Sunco Always Secure is a cloud-based service that eliminates the need for managing separate firewalls, reducing both cost and complexity for Sunco customers.
An essential benefit of this integration is the establishment of an Adaptiv SD-WAN gateway within Sunco’s Calgary data center. This strategic move ensures minimal latency for customers in the Alberta region, providing them with fast, reliable, and secure network services. Sunco Always On solutions are available worldwide by using Adaptiv’s global network of SD-WAN gateways.
