Auvik 2025 Year in Review: Platform Advancements and Highlights

In 2025, Auvik provided enhanced visibility, automation, and advanced insights to more than 6,000 customers across over 110,000 networks worldwide. During the year, the company tackled key challenges for modern IT teams, including alert fatigue, tool sprawl, and the growing prevalence of unsanctioned AI use.

Innovations Transform Network Visibility and Automation for Overburdened IT Teams

In 2025 Auvik introduced powerful new capabilities across its Network Management and SaaS Management platforms, designed to reduce operational noise and simplify day-to-day IT workflows. These innovations expanded automated visibility across networks, servers, SaaS applications, and endpoints, enabling IT teams to operate more efficiently in complex, hybrid environments.

Auvik delivered intelligent automation and streamlined visibility enhancements in 2025, with key advancements including:

  • Shadow AI Visibility addressed one of 2025’s biggest challenges: as organizations pushed employees to leverage AI for faster results, many turned to unsanctioned tools to get the job done quickly. In response, Auvik detected and classified more than 100,000 Shadow AI applications, giving IT teams the visibility needed to monitor usage, enforce policies, and strengthen governance without stifling innovation.
  • Smart Alert Suppression prioritizes the most critical alerts for IT teams and has proven to reduce alert volume by 80%, resulting in more intuitive alerting, greatly reducing alert noise and only surfacing mission critical insights.
  • Enhanced endpoint, network, and server monitoring provide deeper, automated visibility across the entire IT ecosystem. Auvik Endpoint Network Monitoring, a feature added to the Auvik Network Management (ANM) platform in 2025, extends network visibility to the endpoint, across workstations no matter where they are, to help IT teams manage and improve the end-user experience on Windows and macOS devices. Auvik also expanded its Server Monitoring capabilities in ANM, providing customers with deeper visibility into Windows servers.

These advancements underscore Auvik’s ongoing commitment to helping overburdened IT teams regain control of increasingly complex network and SaaS environments while proactively managing emerging IT risks.

“2025 was a pivotal year for Auvik, as we delivered the intelligent automation and visibility that IT teams desperately need right now,” said John Astorino, Chief Operating Officer at Auvik. “The explosion of shadow AI created serious governance challenges for organizations trying to balance innovation and security. In response, our platform is giving IT leaders the control they need without becoming a bottleneck to productivity. Auvik is fundamentally changing how IT teams manage their increasingly complex environments.”

Auvik Recognized for Continued Dedication and Excellence in Advancing IT Security and Automation

Driven by these landmark achievements, Auvik has recently been recognized as one of Toronto’s 2026 Top Employers, as well as being named to the 2025 Deloitte Canadian Fast 50 list. Auvik also earned a 5-star rating in the 2025 CRN Partner Program Guide, and multiple individual leadership honors.

“The momentum we’ve built in 2025 reflects our unwavering focus on reducing friction for IT teams that are stretched thin while managing increasingly complex environments,” said Doug Murray, CEO at Auvik. “From tackling shadow AI to slashing alert fatigue, Auvik isn’t just keeping pace with industry challenges, we’re staying far ahead of them. In 2026, we’re doubling down on AI-powered capabilities and automation that will make IT operations even more intuitive and data-driven.
